“Andover Vows” (www.andovervows.com and www.andoverjp.com) features two Andover-based Justices of the Peace: Michael Capozzi and Greg Landry.
We perform weddings in North Shore cities and towns, typically within a 20 mile radius of Andover, North of Boston. We are happy to refer another JP if you are planning a wedding in Boston, the South Shore, Metro West etc, outside of our normal North Shore travel area.
We specialize in personalized “Custom Ceremonies”, which we’ll create together utilizing our unique template of multiple ceremony choices and personalized options designed to help you craft a deeply meaningful ceremony that you will be proud to share with your family, loved ones and friends. Best of all, every word we’ll say is subject to your approval.
We do traditional, same-gender; non-religious, religious or mixed religions. We respect your wishes and don’t impose any limitations or rules on photographers or videographers you have hired. We will contact your ceremony music (DJ, Musicians etc) in advance to go over musical cues for a flawless processional and recessional. We also coordinate all the details with the event planner or function host/hostess at your venue.
We also offer simple, “pre-written” Civil Ceremonies here in Andover… held by appointment (it’s legal, short & sweet… all you will need is a valid Massachusetts marriage license).

Justice Michael E. Capozzi has done weddings since 1973. Long before he became a JP, Michael was a professional musician and played at hundreds of weddings between 1973 and 1996. In 1996 he switched from playing keyboards to spinning CDs and continued as a full-time Wedding DJ (as Michael Edwards). Performing weddings as a DJ from 1996 to 2014, Michael carefully observed all of the different officiants at hundreds of ceremonies. It was a unique “training” opportunity that few other JPs ever get… attending hundreds of weddings prior to being an officiant… just to compile a list of all the most meaningful, heartfelt options for wedding vows, ring exchanges, readings, family traditions and special moments… and then taking the time to create a fun and easy way for engaged couples to select, personalize and incorporate their favorite choices as a custom-created ceremony that is tailored to their needs and beliefs. In 2016, Justice Michael retired from the musical entertainment industry and he now devotes full time to his JP clients and his family.
Justice Greg Landry has been officiating weddings for over 10 years. In that time, he has worked to make every marriage ceremony meaningful and memorable for each couple he has the pleasure of meeting.
Reviews from our past couples consistently rave about his warm and friendly personality and about how he’s kept them on track throughout the process. His calming demeanor is key when nerves are somewhat tattered on the wedding day.
No stranger to public speaking and managing important responsibilities, Greg was Principal of a highly-regarded elementary school in North Andover until his recent promotion to director of human resources for the school system. He is a Lowell native who has lived in Andover for over 15 years with his wife and their two teenage children.
A perfect fit for Andover Vows, Justice Greg shares our philosophy of exceptional customer service and attention to detail. He always sees to it that each wedding ceremony is unique and crafted to reflect the personalities and preferences of the couple.
